This site is not just another site that spouts loads of hype and gimmicks about beds and mattresses. I have set up this web site to give honest and impartial advice about what is good and what is bad in the bed industry as far as design goes. And how to get the best value for money.

My name is Tim Deegan. Some of you may know me from the advice and help I have given to many people in various forums. The trouble with forums, is that they will always attract a number of trouble makers, including people in the bed industry who don’t like me spilling the beans about  all the hype and gimmicks used in the industry. And these people spoil it for people who do want help finding their way through the mattress minefield.

Although I am in the bed business I will not advertise any products or retailers, and for legal reasons I won’t mention specific names for manufacturers or retailers (except on the ‘Who is Who’ page). All the help I will give is general advice. I will give pro and cons of various designs, and I will tell you what us just a useless gimmick.

Please feel free to ask any bed and mattress related questions in our forum, where I will do my best to answer all questions. If there are any questions that I don’t know the answer to, then I will try to find the answer and get back to you. Failing that other members may know the answer.

If you found this site by searching on Google, then you will know that there are many sites that claim to be giving advice, when really they are just giving out a load of sales propaganda. As I said previously, this site contains no advertising, and the information given is 100% honest and impartial. I was actually approached by one bed company who wanted to advertise on this site. I presume they either didn’t read this page, or they thought I could be bought.
